I modeled the left side of the logo after a kannel or kantele. It’s a traditional Finnish and Karelian plucked string instrument and what the Kannelmäki-neighborhood is named after (kannel-hill).

What I learned

The theme wasn’t the best, it was clunky and inflexible, but it meant that I learned a lot of CSS while circumventing the theme’s own settings.

I still occasionally maintain it, but haven’t done any major revamps. It would need to be rebuilt, but so far it works so well that there’s no need to hire me to redo it!
