Hello! My name is Jenniina Laine. I am a bilingual freelance visual designer with a Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, who recently graduated from Metropolia UAS. My specialization was in web design, with a final project focused on accessibility in WordPress. My goal is to gain well-rounded proficiency in all aspects of digital design, with an emphasis on accessible and responsive design.

You may commission me for website design, small animations and print materials such as posters for small businesses and organizations. I’m based in Helsinki, Finland, but feel comfortable working remotely. I currently have room for more freelance work, so see what I can do for you and contact me to have your design needs met.

Besides graphic design, I learned a lot about UI/UX development, service design and marketing, as well as about animation and editing video with After Effects. Even though I officially studied graphic design, it was so much more than the title suggests!

This site is my portfolio, a work in progress and an experiment on how malleable the WordPress theme Michelle is. At the moment, I’ve mostly displayed only client work, but I might add some personal projects later on. Let me know if you find any bugs!

You may switch between light and dark themes or change the language to Finnish at the top of the page. The plugin that I used occasionally drops translations, so if you happen to be reading the Finnish version, let me know if some parts are missing translations! In order to get to the top of the page easily, there are intermittent Back to top of the page-buttons to get you back to the top of the page when needed. Besides the individual pages for my web page projects and the cookie policy, everything on this site is situated on this one page. Likewise, any external links are appended by an arrow.
